A short story about me

​With a Master's Degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering and 40years of experience in the IT industry, I bring a unique blend of technical expertise and practical wisdom to the classroom. My career has spanned the evolution of computing from mainframes to today's AI revolution, giving me unparalleled insight into how technology transforms our work and lives.

Throughout my career, I've been recognised as an exceptional communicator and teacher, with a gift for translating complex technical concepts into accessible, practical knowledge. Rather than focusing on theoretical abstractions, I specialise in helping people understand the "how" and "why" behind technology in ways they can immediately apply.

My passion for practical AI applications stems from seeing firsthand how these tools can empower individuals and organisations when approached with the right knowledge. I've guided professionals across industries to integrate AI solutions that address real-world challenges while maintaining appropriate boundaries around data privacy and security.

I recently attended a training course on Understanding AI from "Let's Demystify AI" It was an inciteful and engaging course with proactive discussion and active learning.
